Title: Sea of Stars (Kricket #2)

Author: Amy A. Bartol

Genre: Young Adult/Paranormal Romance

Rating: 5 Stars

What its about:

Kricket is still on Ethar and is trying to avoid Kyon and stay with Trey. The Alameeda’s attack Rafe and war breaks out with Kricket stuck in the middle. Kyon will do anything to get her, and Trey will do anything to keep her.

What I loved:

The characters in this book are so well written. The bad guys aren’t static, the good guys have flaws, and everyone is a dynamic character. The action in this book picks up right where the last book left off and it never slows down. In the middle of the war there is the beautiful love story of Kricket and Trey that makes my heart melt. I also liked finding out more about Kricket’s family and can’t wait to learn more in the next book.

What I didn’t love:

The only think I didn’t love about this book is that I have to wait for the next book to come out (Darken the Stars). Seriously, I have NO patience for things like this. Amy Bartol, I am going to need you to give Darken the Stars your undivided attention right away!

If you liked…

The unbecoming of Mara Dyer, Inescapable (also by Amy Bartol)

5 + stars (seriously, I love this series)
